when the day starts at 5:30 with tiny taps on the shoulder and a little voice whispering, "momma, i want to snuggle you," you know it's going to be a good day.
that was the start to my day yesterday. how can you turn down baby girl snuggles? they won't last much longer after all. so i went into her room and snuggled with her for a few minutes, then tucked her back in so she could sleep for another hour and a half at least.
and if that would have been it, i would have been thankful for the start of my day. but it got even better. when i went in to wake her up at 7:30, this is what i found...
tiny toes peeking....
.... peeking out from the most giant teddy bear blanket ever
and this sweet little face, sleeping peacefully.
that was a good way to start off my day. a very good way.
