I have got some crazy kind of headache today. Not sure what has brought it on, but ALL I wanna do is pop some Motrin and plop on the couch. I think it's a good evening for bringing the kids in a little earlier, getting cleaned up, and popping a movie in. Yup. That's the plan.
So yesterday morning, we got up early, had some breakfast, and loaded into the van. It's been a while since I've been to Detroit Metro, but that was our morning destination. Sadly, we had to take Lucas to the airport for his trip to California. So, for the next 10 days, I'm on my own with the kids and the house and such. We're good. But I miss him!
Isaac had his follow-up appointment with is ankle specialist yesterday. Good news! He is DONE with the air cast. No reason to come back - that's what the doctor said. I like it! LOVE it really! He was SUPER excited! His response... "Mom, does that mean I can RUN again? I hope it means I can run!" Oh ya, Buddy, run your heart out! Makes a mama happy.
Last night, Sheri, my sweet friend from Michigan came to visit! We sat up until about 1:00 in the morning talking. It was SO good to catch up with her. We spent the day together today. She took off earlier this evening to head home. I had SUCH a great time just sitting and talking to her. I miss seeing her every day!
SO. We are getting ready to chill for the night. I will NOT be staying up until 1:00. If I make it to 10:00, I'll be doing good. :)
