PB&J a la Meagan

Meagan decided today that she was more than capable of making her own lunch. What's on the menu? Why, PB&J of course! She's 5 - what else is she going to make? Once I gave her the okay, she got soooo excited! She jumped around the kitchen singing, "I'm going to make my own sandwich!" Then she buzzed off to her work space (aka, the chess table by the front window, which is conveniently located right next to the colored pencils) to make a plan.

Step 1: Get the peanutbutter (noted by the little peanuts)
Step 2: Get the jelly (see the jelly blob by the backwards 2)
Step 3: Get the bread (another backward number)
Step 4: Get a spoon (for the jelly)
Step 5: Knife (at least her 5 isn't backwards)
Step 6: Squish the sandwich together.

Love it!

So here's the little chef in action...
