He wanted to wear them home that day, but he has to wait until this week to get them. They gave him an extra case to take to school with him so that he can leave his glasses at his desk for gym class and recess. Other than that, he will have to have them on all the time. I think it will be a bit of adjustment for him after the newness wears off a bit, but he'll be okay. Now we just have to give him a hair cut before his glasses come in so that his sideburns (aka 'wings') don't poof out like that! LOL!

I Can See Clearly Now
Last week was a week of eye doctor visits. I went and got new contacts the week before, and then I made appointments for each of the kids for last week. Meagan went first... slightly far-sighted, but not enough to warrant glasses at this time.... yearly follow-up, end of story. Isaac was also good... no issues there. Sebastian, however, ended up being near-sighted enough that he was prescribed glasses. I wasn't sure how he would take the news, but he was actually pretty excited about it. He tried on LOTS of them, and finally settled on the ones he liked (sorry for the blurry picture).
