First Time for Everything!

Finally Finally! I can officially say that I have built a snowman! For the first time in my life! I can remember various attempts when I was younger, but the snow must not have been good packing snow, because my attempts always fell apart! But yesterday after dinner, we all bundled up & headed out back - snowman kit in hand (a bucket of buttons, a carrot, a pipe, a hat & a scarf), and we started building. Everyone helped at least a little. Meagan spent most of her time climbing snow mountains in the yard (at one point she stuck her foot in a really deep pile of snow, and lost her boot, so she was wandering the yard with one boot and one sock...oops!). As the sun faded & the sky was getting dark, we put the finishing touches on Frosty. It looks like his stay with us is going to be short-lived, since he's already losing buttons & his pipe hit the ground today. But it was fun while it lasted!
